ABOUT ME
MY APPROACH
I am here to support you in navigating your journey through life stressors and the distress which all of us experience from time to time. My approach believes there is value in every individual experience and that all of us have the ability to move through the tough times if given the right tools, space, and guidance.
EXPERIENCE
I have been in private practice since 2020. Prior to that, worked in group practice for 7 years. I have worked with neurodiverse populations; adults and young adults; couples and relationships. I have provided trainings for the Mental Health Counselor's Association of Iowa and the Iowa Chapter of National Association of Social Workers, for non-profit organizations, and have done consultation and supervision for clinicians.
PERSONAL
I am married and have two children. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my children grow and learn. I am an adjunct faculty at Drake University. My free time is spent reading (history books and clinical books mostly), listening to music (almost every genre there is), building a vinyl collection, watching movies, and playing golf and pickleball.
